Testing testing. . .
Is this thing ON?
Am I pointed in the right direction?
testing, testing. . .one. . .two. . .
I am NOT a technophobe, I'm a Crusty Old Fart and I've never done this before so please be gentle, And patient.
I'll actually be posting some things I feel like saying and some of them may be about GrimJack but a lot probably won't be. I'll be here at the website as often as I can. I'm going to try to look in at least once a day.
Right now, I just want to see if I've done this right and if I actually have blogged.
Gawd, that sounds weird.

Congratulations, John! Now I'll the only person left on the planet who doesn't have a website or a cell phone.

I don't have a cell phone either and I paid dearly recently for that sad fact. Had a tire go flat on an interstate out where there was NOTHING but trees. Couldn't get the spare out so I wound up walking FIVE FREAKING MILES to the nearest phone and I am NOT built these days for long walks.
So, Rick, there may be hope for you yet (assuming you want either a cell phone or weblog). After all, I just GOT this weblog and am still trying to figure out what I'm doing with it. Gold's a natural at it.
BTW, for those who don't recognize the name, Rick was one of our esteemed editors on GrimJack. Or as esteemed as ANY editor gets on Grimjack. Hey, Rick! Welcome back to the zoo!

I always thought you were one of the best writers around, so I'm very pleased to see you blogging. Anybody who could turn a comic with the "Suicide" in the title into a hit has got to have something special going for him.

Welcome to the blogosphere, John! I've been here for a couple of years if you need any sort of advice in this area...

I'm still ambivalent about getting a blog, although I've got a website complete with something resembling an art gallery attached to it myself. As for cell phones? Someday, John, I'm going to share a story with you about San Diego. In person, I think, if we get the chance for me to do so.

Dear John,
Very glad to see you & TT back with Grimmer. Also glad to see two OFs who share my older body style still able to kick@$$. I encountered your distinctive writing style in that TT Spotlight Aqualad-on-mushrooms story in a lot of my daughter's comics. Recognized the ability, next found that Gay Barbarian story and then wandered into Cynosure, where I was happily ensconced for its run. And my daughter settled nearby soon after. (One of our in-jokes remains "Ooooo, Gordon, make it go away". Who could possibly know what it means?)
But enough of the stroking! THE immediate reason I wandered over here was that I can't register over at the official Grimjack site, and I couldn't find the webmaster link to "complain". I followed the instructions to a T but each time I "submit", it tells me I haven't typed the special code in correctly, and lawdy that isn't true. As the responses to posts seems low, maybe I'm not the only person experiencing this. So I'm bringing this to your attention, especially now that you have a "substantial equity position" in the LLC. Help!
PS - And if Gaiman can get to be an executive producer, I expect to see your & TT's credits up on that screen someday soon. Just get paid also to write the first script draft.

That is correct Rick Oliver, as the "only person left on the planet who doesn't have a website or a cell phone" huuuuuuu (if you get my meaning) have been very hard to find. It has been a while since Rita Street. Give me a call. I am still in Oak Park.
